Dear friends!
On 23rd , February of 2021, the Ibaraki Prefecture Government rescinded the request for self-restraint of non-essential outgoing from homes. The board of elected executive elders of our church also decided to remove its request for restraining the attendance to the worship service, with requests to wearing face mask over your nose and mouth and to keeping other practices to prevent undesired spread of infection. We are happy to tell that English interpretation service for non-Japanese speaking people will also resume from the first Sunday of March. All who are thirsty for the words of God, our Lord, are welcome to the worship service. Let us hear the message of God and praise him together!

Dear friends!
The authority of Ibaraki prefectural asked its citizens all over including those in the city of Tsukuba to exercise self-restraint for going out without absolute necessity and urgency. In the light of this, the board of elected elders of the church so decided that as from January 10 to February 7, 2021, the Sunday worship service be conducted with attendance only of the elected elders while providing other church members online service so they can participate in the worship service (which is spoken only in Japanese words) remotely at their own homes.

1 Christmas Sunday Service :
In order to avoid crowded situation, Service on Sunday, the 20th will be conducted in two parts: one each in the morning and in the afternoon. English interpretation will be provided for and only in the morning Service.
2 Christmas Eve. Service :
In order to avoid taking the risk of unexpected large crowd attending the special occasion with the possibility of COVID-19 infection, the Board of Elected Elders made an extraordinary decision not to have Christmas Eve. Service this year.
We humbly request for your kind understanding about and cooperation to the above decisions.

Dear friends!
In light of the request of Prefectural Authority to restrain going out of your house without urgent and absolute needs during December 1 - 13 , 2020, please be advised that church members and others including you who expect to hear the sermon in English translation to restrain to participate in the Sunday service in person during the said period. The Board of Elected Elders of the Church is also advising that in person contributions to the conduct of the worship service not be made including English translation. We pray and we hope you will join in our prayer to the effect that such a day will come as when we can observe the worship service ordinarily.

Dear friends, brothers and sisters in faith!
The authority of Ibaraki-ken and Tsukuba-city issued special requests that gatherings of more than 10 people be restrained on the weekend, i.e. 4 and 5 of April. In light of the further spread of COVID-19 infection in the prefecture and also in Tsukuba city during the past week, and in the absence of any change of the requests from the authorities in either direction as of Sunday 5h, it will be safe to take that the requests will remain effective as renewed for the coming weekend, i.e. 11 and 12 as well.
We are fully aware that the coming Sunday is Easter Sunday, a very special day. But in the event that the requests for self-restraint by the authorities remain and updated, please be advised that our church will comply with them and have the worship service with reduced participation; chances could perhaps be even that there is no worship service, should special emergency declaration is issued by the Japanese government.
